AnimBrushes Read Me
© 1992-93 Gérard Cornu
Those AnimBrushes are ©1992-93 Gérard Cornu but are freely redistri-
butable. When re-distributing don't forget to include this unmodified
Read Me file. And don't charge more than the cost of an AmigaLibdisk
from Fred FISH.
Thoses AnimBrushes cannot be used for commercial purposes, or included on
magazine's cover disks, apart from "AMIGA DP" (the french AmigaNews
sister's magazine exclusively dedicated to Amiga PD, FD), without the
written permission of the author (myself!).
Peter Miles (see end of file) is certainly allowed to include them
in the ICPUG Amiga library.
Fred Fish is obviously allowed to include them in its unique AmigaLibDisk
library.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As regard to Fred and the AmigaLibDisk library, don't forget to
contact your club or 'Fish disks' distributor to have them take a
regular subscription to the AmigaLibDisk library, if they don't
already have one. This is very important for the future of the Amiga-
LibDisk library, therefore for the future of the Amiga.
Thierry Colin (Amiga DP / DPAT) is authorised to include them in the french
speaking Amiga PD collection "DPAT" (Domaine Public Amiga Toulouse).
Intro:
~~~~~~
Thoses AnimBrushes have been designed for a 4 colours, non interlaced
hi-res screen. They are to be used in conjunction with ToolManager 2.0
which is a very useful addition to the Amiga system and is Copyright (C)
1990-92 Stefan Becker. Thanks Stefan for such a nice tool.
How to quickly see them:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You should have ToolManager running on your system!
- Quit ToolManager, by typing ToolManager in your Shell and clicking
on the 'Yes' gadget appearing in the TM requester.
- Rename your 'ENV:ToolManager.prefs' file to 'ENV:ToolManager.prefs.orig'
- Copy the file 'ToolManager.prefs' which is in this directory to
'ENV:ToolManager.prefs'
- Copy all the 8 AnimBrushes (in the sub-directory 'TMAnimBrushes') to RAM:
- Re-run ToolManager.
The dock containing the AnimBrushes should appear on the top left hand
corner of your Workbench screen. Just click on any 'icon looking'
AnimBrushes to see it in action!
To get back to your system:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Quit ToolManager, by typing ToolManager in your Shell and clicking
on the 'Yes' gadget appearing in the TM requester.
- Delete the file 'ENV:ToolManager.prefs'
- Rename the previously renamed 'ENV:ToolManager.prefs.orig' to
'ENV:ToolManager.prefs'
- Re-run ToolManager.
That's it!
To use those AnimBrushes in your system...
